Rocktoberfest 2026, Hosted by the Red River Gorge Climbers' Coalition (RRGCC)
Rocktoberfest is not only a huge party, but it is also RRGCC's largest fundraiser each year. This event is what enables the Coalition to purchase climbing lands in order to secure permanent access to climbing in the RRG, and steward the 1,800+ acres of land that we have already secured. The event runs essentially all week, but officially kicks off on Wednesday and runs through Sunday. Rocktoberfest consists of sponsor booths with the latest gear, stacked raffles, contests for prizes, exclusive film screenings, live music, food trucks, climbing competitions, and clinics taught by professional athletes on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Schedule of Events
Event Venue: Land of the Arches Campground (LOTA)
This year, the best weekend of the fall will be held at Land of the Arches Campground in Campton, KY. There will be plenty of room to camp, hang out with friends, party, visit vendor booths, listen to music, play games, and support the RRGCC!
Please note: dogs are allowed at Land of the Arches, however, no dogs are allowed in the hangar and owners MUST leash and poop scoop after their dogs.

Free Admission & Camping for Volunteers
Thanks for helping make this Rocktoberfest even better. Please consider volunteering for multiple shifts at the same job, it makes the event flow much more smoothly, and you will have a lot of fun!
- Please arrive at the registration booth 15 minutes prior to your shift starting
- Everyone gets a volunteer shirt! They are unisex, select your size - if you sign up for two shifts, only select your shirt size once. (Please pre-order your Rocktoberfest event t-shirt online through the RRGCC's event ticket registration system)
- If you volunteer for one shift, you will get free entry the day you volunteer + 50% off the other day. You do not need to buy tickets online for your "other day". Just check in at the registration booth when you arrive.
- If you volunteer for two shifts, you get FREE admission into the event!
- Volunteers get awesome swag bags - don't miss out!

Clinics with the Pros & Community Meet-Ups
ALL CLINICS (unless otherwise stated): Athletes & Volunteers: 8:30 AM | Participants: 9 AM | Depart: 9:30 AM | Return: 3-4 PM
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to start time in order to check in. Please bring your own climbing equipment such as: shoes, harness, belay device, rope, quickdraws, and/or trad gear (if applicable). All participants are required to wear helmets during the clinic. Helmets are provided if you do not have one.
