The Red River Gorge Climbers' Coalition has worked for the last thirty years to secure access to the treasured cliff lines found on National Forest and private land in Eastern Kentucky. From the initial historic PMRP purchase in 2004, to the Miller Fork acquisition in 2013, the addition of Bald Rock in 2017, securing access to Cliffview Recreational Preserve in 2024, the historic Ashland acquisition in 2025, and most recently, securing access to Oil Crack and Arena in 2026 – the RRGCC continues to secure and conserve rock climbing in the Red River Gorge region.
In addition to land acquisition, the RRGCC has worked tirelessly on property infrastructure and management, along with education of new climbers through stewardship presentations and ethics reminders. Your donations are hard at work to continue upkeep of our roads, trails and bridges, make required mortgage payments, secure new land, educate climbers, and push to make climbing more accessible to everyone.
Membership is the RRGCC's most consistent form of funding that allows us to continue our work, protecting and expanding access to world class rock climbing in the Red River Gorge. Thank you to all who donate.
